It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like...

They lit the big Christmas tree in Union Square last night!

The SPCA has their annual pet adoptions in the windows of Macy's:

Here's one of their animated windows:

Unfortunately, it looks like some of their workers aren't too happy with Macy's:

Ya should've taken care of this before the holiday shopping season, Macy's!

Special Guest Cats

We had Thanksgiving dinner at my sister's yesterday and got to see her two cats.

First, there's Mary:

And here's Tosha:

Tosha's 17! (Update: I'm informed Tosha is actually 18!)

They both had turkey and giblets before we got there. We gave them a can of this:

All our cats got some, too. They chowed it down!

Puss in Boots

This is a Russian lacquer box depicting the story of "Puss in Boots". Great painting!

There are several more depictions of Puss, and other cats, at this site,Russian Lacquer Art.

I found it through a blog run by a woman named Hecate. BTW, she's a witch!

Love That Rex!

Rex is 7 years old! He's lookin' good...
